Registration is now open for the fall sessions at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. I will be teaching a week-long caning workshop from October 21st through the 27th. In that week, we will cover ferns, leaves & flowers, & of course those dotty circles. Class time is from 9:00 to 4:30, & there is open studio time in the evenings. The class will be limited to 15 people.

On June 1st, 2007 Polymer Clay Productions is launching a podcast and videocast about polymer clay, that will be available for download every Friday. It will be available on itunes in other podcast directories and on http://www.polymerclayproductions.com
Award winning artist Ilysa Bierer and art educator Kira Slye bring 33 years of combined experience creating with polymer clay to teaching and demonstrating the art and craft of polymer clay. In Polymer Clay Podcast Ilysa & Kira will talk about techniques and events. They will have book reviews, product reviews and news as well as tips techniques and tricks. On the companion videocast, Polymer Clay TV, Ilysa and Kira will demonstrate the techniques they discuss in the podcast and show you the products you will need to complete the projects. The podcast and videocast are both free to listen and watch. If you would like to see the complete project, downloads are also available in the shop as well as kits that include ALL the materials needed to complete the project. Ilysa and Kira present a fresh and fun way to learn about creating with polymer clay. They hope you will join them every Friday.

Aug. 23-26 are the NEW DATES for BeadFest Philadelphia. BeadFest
has moved to Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, PA.

5th Annual Pittsburgh Polymer Clay Retreat!

At the Pittsburgh Polymer Clay Guild, there’s only one thing more
exciting than claying—claying with friends! This year we will be at
Lutherlyn in Prospect, PA. Lutherlyn is a year-round retreat center on
640 scenic acres with two lakes, 17 miles of trails, and comfortable
accommodations. A short walk from the A-frame cabin accommodations, our
work space will be in the spacious, well-lit dining hall open 24 hours.
Lutherlyn is located 40 miles north of Pittsburgh off of Route 422
between Butler and Prospect. The best routes to Route 422 are I-79 or
