The recent deaths of infants and children who died when
they were accidentally forgotten to be dropped off at
their daycare by their parent or caregiver has prompted
a public awareness campaign called, "Don't Forget Your
Child ®" Each year
Renttemporaryfencing.com approximately 35 children die in the
backseat of vehicles when their parent or caregiver is
distracted to the point that they forget to take their
child to daycare.
The purpose of this campaign is to alert parents
and caregivers to this growing problem that can happen
to anyone. Distractions such as cell phones, a change in
the family routine, concentration on matters at work and
busy lifestyles have been attributed to this tragedy.
The goals of "dontforgetyourchild.org" is to urge

hospitals and any place of employment where employees
come to work, to display posters in areas most seen by
The posters have the slogan, "Don't Forget Your Child ®" and
the face of an infant printed on them. Decals should
also be posted near coffee pots and water coolers. These
printed materials will serve as a reminder of an
employee's precious cargo in the backseat.
We are asking maternity hospitals to help educate
new parents of this growing problem by placing something
with this logo in the goody bags that are sent home with
them from the hospital. Ob/Gyn offices are also being
asked to help educate parents and caregivers.
Items which have this logo printed on them are
available to help educate parents, grandparents,
babysitters, daycare workers and school bus drivers.
Items for the office include pens, pads and
photo holders and frames and paper weights. Items
for vehicles are litter bags and seat belt pals to
be put on adult and children seat belts. All items are
